These Affiliate Program Terms (the “Program Terms“) govern participation in the Schoolyland Affiliate Program (the “Program“), operated by Schoolyland (“Schoolyland“, “we“, “us“) through schoolyland.com. By applying to the Program or using an affiliate account, you (“Affiliate“, “you“) agree to these Program Terms and to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which apply to anything not covered here.
1.1 The Program lets approved Affiliates earn commissions by referring customers to Schoolyland services purchased through schoolyland.com.
1.2 Participation is free. Joining the Program does not make you a customer, and buying a Schoolyland platform does not make you an Affiliate — the two are independent.
2.1 You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding agreement. The Program is intended for publishers, creators, consultants, agencies, and professionals with a genuine audience or client base.
2.2 Every application is reviewed manually. We may approve or decline any application at our sole discretion, without obligation to give a reason.
2.3 You are responsible for keeping your account details — including your payout email — accurate and up to date.
3.1 Approved Affiliates receive a unique referral link. When a visitor arrives through your link, a tracking cookie is stored in their browser for 30 days.
3.2 Attribution is last-click: if a visitor clicks links from more than one Affiliate, the most recent link before purchase gets the credit.
3.3 Tracking depends on the visitor’s browser accepting cookies. We cannot credit referrals where the tracking cookie was blocked, cleared, or expired, and we are not liable for untracked referrals.
4.1 You earn 20% of the net amount of each qualifying purchase made on schoolyland.com within the tracking window. “Net amount” means the amount actually paid, after discounts and excluding taxes and payment fees.
4.2 A purchase qualifies when it is completed, paid in full, and attributed to your referral link under Section 3.
4.3 Self-referrals are not commissionable — you cannot earn a commission on your own purchases or purchases made on your behalf.
4.4 We may change the commission rate or Program structure prospectively at any time with notice. Changes never apply retroactively to referrals already confirmed.
5.1 Commissions become eligible for payout no earlier than 30 days after the purchase — mirroring the window in which orders may be refunded or disputed. Your dashboard may show a commission as approved sooner; payout timing follows this rule.
5.2 A referral is reversed — and the commission voided — if the underlying order is refunded, charged back, cancelled, or found to be fraudulent or in breach of these Program Terms.
6.1 Payouts are made in USD via PayPal to the payout email on your affiliate account. You must hold a PayPal account able to receive USD payments.
6.2 Payouts are processed on a monthly basis, covering confirmed commissions once your balance reaches at least $50. Balances below the minimum roll over to the next cycle.
6.3 You are solely responsible for any taxes, levies, or reporting obligations that apply to your commission income in your jurisdiction. Commissions are inclusive of any applicable taxes; Schoolyland does not gross up payouts.
7.1 The following will result in reversal of commissions and may result in immediate termination:
7.2 Disclosure. You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship wherever you share your link, as required by applicable advertising rules in your jurisdiction (for example, FTC endorsement guidelines).
8.1 While you are an active Affiliate, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Schoolyland name, logo, and any creatives we provide — solely to promote Schoolyland under these Program Terms.
8.2 You may not alter our logo, use it as part of your own branding, or imply partnership, endorsement, or employment beyond the affiliate relationship.
9.1 You are an independent party. Nothing in the Program creates an employment, agency, joint-venture, or partnership relationship. You have no authority to make commitments on Schoolyland’s behalf.
10.1 Either party may end participation at any time — you by written notice or by ceasing to use your account, and we by written notice to your account email.
10.2 On termination without breach, confirmed commissions above the payout minimum are paid in the next payout cycle. Pending referrals at the date of termination complete their confirmation period normally.
10.3 On termination for breach of Section 7, unpaid commissions — pending and confirmed — are forfeited.
11.1 The Program is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Program is limited to the commissions confirmed and unpaid at the time the claim arises.
11.2 The limitations of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution provisions of the Terms of Service apply to these Program Terms.
