As you begin working with LearnDash, the settings screen is where you set up important global options for your learning platform. Its a good idea to check these settings before you create your courses, since most will apply to all your contentÔÇölike courses, lessons, topics, and quizzes.
When you first set up LearnDash, it will have some pre-set default options ready to go. Take your time to look through these; its easier to get them right now than to change them later when your courses are ready.

Access your LearnDash general settings by navigating to LEARNDASH LMS > SETTINGS in the WordPress admin area.

Telemetry (Usage Statistics)
When you visit a settings page for the first time, you might see a message asking if you want to share usage statistics with LearnDash and the StellarWP Family of Brands. This is completely up to you. If you choose to opt in, youll get helpful tips to optimize the way you work with LearnDash. If you dont want to opt in, thats okay tooÔÇöeverything will still work just fine.

Once you make a selection, the page will refresh and the opt-in will no longer display. If you change your mind about sharing data, you can always update your preference in LearnDash LMS > Settings > Advanced > Data Sharing.
